🔒Lockdown Drill🔒

🔒Lock down Drill🔒
Kia Ora and welcome to my blog! Today Tamaki Primary school had a lock down drill at 10:00am. A Lock down happens if the school is in danger or if there is any type of threat towards our school. When a lock down happens, everyone in the class, including the teachers have to all gather in the middle of the room and lie down. This makes it look like there is no one in the class. This will help keep everyone safe.

Today during Maths, we heard the school bell ring on and off. This was our que to get to the middle of the class. Everyone was brilliant at doing this. Mr Janse had his laptop with him just to be in contact with the other staff.

I think Room 9 was really good at being quiet during the Lock down, but I think next time, some of us can take it a bit more seriously.
I think having this Lock Down drill is really important, cause it sets us up for when it really happens.

Question of the blog:
Have you ever been in a real Lock down?

Thank you for reading! Bye :)
