🐼SLJP Day 3 - Awesome Animals - Activity 3: The WWF🐼
Image result for wwfKia Ora and welcome back to my blog! Today I will be doing the ACTIVITY 3 of Day 3! This activity is about WWF! WWF stands for World Wildlife Fund! This company is to protect life of Earth! I watched a video (LINK) and it is about the WWF! Let's get started with today's task!

In this video the WWF Organisation is trying to help a sea animal called the Saimaa Ringed Seal! This animal is endangered and it is known that only 360 seals are still alive! That is really sad! 😔

In this video what the WWF Organisation is doing to help the seals are build SNOW BANKS! Pregnant seals give birth in a hole where it digs into a snowbank. If there is no snow bank the little pups could possibly be in danger. This is because they would be born on open ice and there would be no protection against predators and danger. Which means by making snow banks more pups can be born and stay safe which will increase the population of Saimaa Ringed Seals!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is really cool to see what the WWF does!
Question of the blog: Would you want to be apart of the WWF Organisation?

Thank you for reading this blog! Make sure to give me some POSITIVE feedback and feedforward! Bye :)

  1. Hi again Lydia! :o)
As per usual your post is a pleasure to read, thanks!
You did complete the task well and stick to the main points on your answers. Also, it is nice that you took time to explain about the importance of the snow banks in order for the fresh water seals being able to give birth to their cubs as that give your readers a good context to understand what is that you are writing about.
